How do I take part in Bethlehem’s Restaurant Week?
No passes, tickets or coupons are required. Instead, diners may simply visit their favorite participating restaurants throughout the week to enjoy the special prix fixe breakfast, lunch or dinner menus. It is strongly recommended that diners make reservations in advance. To make a reservation, diners should contact restaurants directly.
How can I see menus and know when the contest winners are announced?
Menus will be released in a few months–prior to Summer Restaurant Week (June 24-30, 2012), an announcement will be made on the Bethlehem PA Facebook Page when they are viewable online. Once menus are available: On the “Participants” Tab, scroll over the blue menu breakfast, lunch, or dinner price points and click to download the menu. Also, when you become a “fan” of Bethlehem PA’s Facebook Page, you will get to see exclusive Restaurant Week menus uploaded to the fan site. Among other “perks”, Bethlehem Facebook fans will be the first ones updated of specials, performances and other privy information.You will also be the first one to hear who the winners of the Restaurant Week contest are: Receiving gift certificates for two to EACH restaurant involved in Restaurant Week! Which restaurants are involved?
A complete list of restaurants will be available on the “Participants” page in a few months–closer to June 24-30th.
Will the menus vary greatly?
Yes. The fun of Bethlehem Restaurant Week is the variety of restaurants participating. Nearly all have websites. Check them out to see if they have their Restaurant Week menu posted. If not, call them. They may also be able to fax you their Restaurant Week menu.
Are reservations required?
No, BUT reservations are strongly encouraged for most of the participating restaurants. Popular choices will book up quickly, so the sooner you get to the phone to make your reservations, the better. Reservations for earlier in the week (Sunday-Wednesday) tend to be easier to get than Thursday-Saturday.
Restaurant Week Contest!
Did you know you have an opportunity to WIN $2000 worth of Restaurant Week Participant gift certificates?! Each time you dine out off of a Restaurant Week menu (max 3 times daily), fill out the contest slip given to you by your server. Hand that slip back to the waiter and you are automatically entered into the contest. Enter up to a total of 21 times for the week.
